OK, so that was a little chaotic. I will appologize now if I missed your event while I was officiating the jumping events. I will say though that some things I did see pleased me a lot. First, everyone was here and was running/jumping/throwing hard. Second everyone was making sure they got where they needed to be, and a lot of the veterans were helping out either directing girls where to go or setting up events. And third and maybe most important, I heard a lot of cheering by the whole team for everyone who was running or jumping. Even after all their events were done, many of the girls came down to cheer on the last few girls in the High Jump. As soon as all the coaches can get our notes together, I will post results here and on Athletic.net.
We are still working out the details, but we may have a short scrimmage at Manalapan on Thursday. I'll let you know by Monday's practice.
