Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. -- Aristotle

The Competition Begins
Great Job with practices this week. We are looking good for the start of the competitive season. Next Wednesday is our first meet. Its going to be a tough fight. Manasquan has been building a stronger and stronger team every season with competitors in all areas, and RBC's team was one of the best in the area last year. Start thinking about being aggressive and being competitive. Remember we are going to have a pasta dinner Tuesday night before "Meet the Coaches Night." Please bring in $5 on Monday so we can order food. Tell your parents to drop you off at 6:00 pm and then one of them should be back around 6:45. I will address everyone before the big meeting and then we will all go to the short meeting with Mr. Westerol and Mr. Loughran. We should be out of there by 7:30 or 8:00 at the latest, so plenty of time to get home and do homework and still get to bed early so you are rested in the morning. Plan ahead so you aren't up late finishing projects you could of done over the weekend. Now it gets serious!
